Entering Grades 6 - 9

Scratch Video Game Design
Learn how to speak the language of computers! Students will dive into the exciting world of computer coding through Scratch. Students will create projects like interactive stories, games, and animations – and are able to share creations with others in the online community.
Are you interested in television and video production? This course will cover multiple aspects of TV production, such as writing, camera operation, acting in front of the camera, and, of course, editing video using Final Cut Pro.
Come explore the basics of shooting in manual mode this summer! We will be learning how to take and compose photos, shutter-speed and aperture. We also will be exploring how to use Adobe Photoshop, not only to edit your photos, but also to create pieces of digital artwork. If you do not have a digital camera one will be provided for you.
Drawing and Painting
Students will gain skills and have fun learning different approaches to drawing and painting. They will learn color theory and experiment with different painting mediums such as watercolor and acrylic.
Entering Grades 10 - 11
9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon, Tuition $175
This course is for students who want to connect with and expand their creativity. Experimental printmaking, painting, and mixed media/collage will be the focus. This is a great opportunity to have focused studio time and mentoring during the summer or to complete summer visual art homework.

12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, Tuition $175
Advanced Drawing and Portfolio
This class is a great summer opportunity for serious student artists to focus exclusively on drawing and painting projects. Students will build observational skills, explore art materials and make artworks that can be used for a college portfolio.
