Mrs. Plouffe is the founder of the String School of Franklin and Director of Music for Franklin Public Schools. She received a bachelor’s degree in violin performance and a master’s degree in music education. She is also a member of the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra.

Mrs. Loukota received her bachelor’s and master's degrees in music education and has performed in string quartets, chamber and large orchestras in New Mexico and Massachusetts.
Mr. SelbyInstructor, Beginner I Cello / Bass
Mr. Selby received his bachelor’s degree in cello performance. He is an instructor for the Lifelong Music Academy’s Private Music Lesson program. He is also principal cellist of the Rhode Island Philharmonic and assistant principal cellist for the Portland Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. SergiInstructor, Beginner I Violin / Viola and Intermediate Strings
Mr. Sergi, an alumni of FHS and the String School of Franklin, received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in viola performance. He teaches private violin/viola lessons for the Lifelong Music Academy’s Private Music Lesson program and is a member of the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra.
